Le Bois Large Scented Candle

Le Bois captures the perfume of the wet soil of a thick forest with moss, autumn leaves and mushroom fragrance in the air. Le Bois is a rich woody blend with warm, comforting notes of sandal and cedar wood infused with a gentle touch of smoke.

Top Notes: amber
Middle Notes: labdanum tree resin, smoke
Base Notes: cedarwood, sandalwood

Materials: soy and coconut wax blend with cotton wick.

Dimensions: height 9.7cm, width 7.3cm, diameter 8.3cm.

The first burn is the most important as it sets the burn memory. When lighting for the first time, ensure it is alight long enough for an even wax pool to develop to the edge of the vessel.
To ensure an even burn and the best scent throw experience, be sure to trim the wick to 5mm before each use.

After extinguishing the flame, make sure the wick stands upright in the centre of the vessel.
Never burn a candle for longer than 2 hours, or when the wax level reaches less than 2cm from the vessel base.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from draughts, children, pets, or flammable objects like curtains.
Always ensure candles are placed on a non-flammable base while burning.

THE FOREST

Every weekend after a languorous Sunday lunch, it was tradition for our founder, Elise, and her family to journey into the forest for an invigorating walk. The scent of fresh soil is unearthed as dry leaves crackle underfoot, carried by the comfort of a full belly. In the distance, log fires and masculine leathers are inhaled in gulping breaths as little legs hurry to keep pace.
