The opportunity
Maison Balzac has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic E-commerce Sales Coordinator, specialising in Shopify. We are looking for a solutions-orientated person with solid analytics and digital skills who will be responsible for the e-commerce store, along with Customer Service.
Working alongside a small, dedicated team this is a multifaceted role best suited to a hands’ on and collaborative team player. We are looking for someone ready to take the next step of autonomously managing our E-commerce store. We are seeking a driven individual who is passionate about contributing to Maison Balzac’s success.
THE ROLE
eCommerce Management
- Manage Shopify website platform which includes but isn’t limited to uploading/updating products, landing pages, and managing functionality updates to improve the customer user experience.
- Manage relationships with existing marketplaces, whilst looking for ways of driving incremental revenue from new and existing marketplaces.
- Work with Graphic Designer to ensure the website best represents the brand’s visual identity whilst constantly looking for improvements to aid onsite conversion.
- Execute and/or oversee the setup, testing and deployment of website campaigns, promotions, pricing, and day-to-day management of the website, which includes but not limited to weekly check on products, online store merchandising, uploading and pinning products to relevant category pages.
- Ensure website pricing, product images, inventory and content is correct and actioned ahead of deadlines.
- Customer Relationship Management - manage the inbound customer communication so we provide the best possible customer service to all Maison Balzac customers.
- Feedback to the business on relevant customer trends and complaints. Capture & monitor customer related issues, particularly in regard to order fulfilment and shipping & handling.
Manage Deep Etch and E-commerce Photoshoots
- Coordinate and schedule photoshoots well in advance, confirming dates with all relevant team members.
- Prepare shot lists for deep etch and e-commerce photoshoots to ensure all necessary shots are captured.
- Source and arrange props and styling elements ahead of the shoot to ensure optimal presentation.
Customer Service
- Responsible for the timely response to customer inquiries via email, ensuring issues are appropriately directed to relevant departments as necessary.
- Address and resolve customer returns, complaints, and concerns related to faulty products, incorrect items, or shipping issues.

Maintain communication with Australia Post regarding all warehouse pick-up and return logistics.
- Manage the relationship with our third-party logistics provider, ensuring smooth order fulfilment, accurate order status updates, resolution of IT integration issues, adherence to shipping protocols, and inventory monitoring.
- Track all online click and collect orders for the three boutique locations, following up on outstanding orders, processing cancellations and refunds when required, and coordinating with the stores to ensure open communication regarding order changes.
Administration
- Maintain and update the stock adjustment sheet for the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock levels in CIN7.
- Collaborate with the Ops Manager to resolve discrepancies related to credit notes, open orders, and order mismatches between Shopify and CIN7.
About you
- 3-5 years’ experience within e-Commerce.
- Experience working with Shopify, CIN7 experience an advantage.
- Solid understanding of eCommerce metrics and analytics data.
- Ability to problem solve and show initiative.
- Experience with customer service and providing customer satisfaction.
- A collaborative spirit and a dedication to maintaining brand integrity.
